He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman P. and Meta Dorr, Sr. (Horin); his children, Roman P. Dorr III and Michelle "Mimi" Power; and his sisters, Roma Long and Betty Lowery.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann; his children, Carrie Elliott of Springfield, Joseph Dorr (Amy) of Carmel, IN and Jeffery Dorr (Debbie Drennan) of Vero Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Dennis Jr., Kelsey Power, Matthew, Lindsay Lippa, Keegan and Finley Dorr; his great grandchildren, Kaelyn and Leha; and his brother Ralph Dorr (Ann) of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
