He is survived by: his daughters, Stacey Funk and Heather Ayers; and his siblings, Sharon Brown (Greg), Sheri Lausmann, Roger Funk (Evon) and Mark Funk (Kim). He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home (437 S Grand Ave W, Springfield, IL 62704). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
