Rosemarie McKee Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemarie McKee of Springfield, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Thoemmes and Anna Marie Thoemmes (Olk); and her brother Karl Thoemmes. She is survived by: her husband James McKee; her daughters, Tammy McKee of Springfield, Chris Flynn of Springfield, Shelly Power (Craig) of Loami and Heidi O'Connor (Scott) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Blake O'Connor (Mallory Dougherty), Kaleb Craig, Luke Smith (Courtney Herndon), Kelsey Leonard (Carson) and Tim Flynn; her great grandchild Myles O'Connor; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kat Walbert and Gabe Williams; and her sisters, Marianne Wunderlich of Menningen and Christel Schmidt of Trier, Germany. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
