It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy M. Burt of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy A. Burt and Bertha Burt (Pavletich); and his daughter Debra Day. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Burt (Angela); his grandchildren, Jason Griffin (Jessica), Ryan Griffin (Jennifer), Heather Fargusson (Craig), Jarrod Day, Adrianne Tieman and Alexandra "Lexi" Smith; and his siblings, Jerome Burt and Francine Bramblett of Pawnee. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
