He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Cooper and Beatrice Stouffer Cooper; his siblings, William G. Cooper and Nelly Cooper-Palmer; and his former wife Annabelle L. Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Lou Ann Gladson of Fort Knox, KY, Carmen Maurer (Mike) of Chatham, IL, William Cooper of Springfield, IL and Gary Cooper of Rochester, IL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
