Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sara Jo Dennis of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 77, on February 20, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Evans and Maryann Evans (Gladhart); her spouse Terry N. Dennis; and her daughter Andrea Dennis. She is survived by: her children, Candace "Candie" Jones (John) of Girard and Eric Dennis (Cathy Doyle) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Michael Andrew Jones (Nikki McLean), Amber Bolinger (Andrew) and Robert Jones; her great grandchild Samuel Bolinger; and her siblings, John Evans (Gayle) of Jacksonville, Donald "Don" Evans of Jacksonville and Roxanne Thompson of Jacksonville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
