She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Arnold and Margaret Emma Sizelove (Corcoran); her husband William R. Peterson, Sr.; her sister Rita Cheffy; and her son-in-law Joe Fickas.

She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Peterson (Paula) of Sherman, Cindy Fickas of Springfield and Kimberly "Kim" Judd (Brian) of Springfield. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
