With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Johnson of Springfield, Illinois, born in Chatham, Illinois, who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Spoor and Norma Spoor (Works); her spouse Lark H. Johnson; and her sisters, Barbara Johnson and Sandi Birkett.
She is survived by: her children, Debb Severs (J. C.) of O'Fallon, IL and Allen "Al" Johnson (Debbie) of Rochester; her grandchildren, Jaime Lee, Ryan Lee (Liz) and Adam Johnson; her siblings, Ronnie Spoor (Janet) of New Berlin, Bonnie Hinrichs (Guy) of Loami, IL and Bob Spoor (Rita) of Normal; and her brothers-in-law, Daryl Johnson of Loami, IL and Jim Birkett of Sherman, IL. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
