It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Louise Spradlin of Springfield, Illinois, born in Alexander, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walker and Zelma Walker (Taylor); and her sister Joyce Walker Acree. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Berkler (Jeff) of Springfield, Jason Reed Spradlin (Becky) of Maui and Shelly Westfall of Texas; her grandchildren, Travis Koester (Megan), Cody Woods, Kylanna and Annanias Spradlin; her great grandchildren, Levi, Elijah and Vivian Koester; and her siblings, Judy Long of Whitehall, Mildred Bryant of Woodson and John Walker (Karol) of Jacksonville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
