She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Earl and Martha Elizabeth Bell (Hatt); her brothers, Warren, Archie and William "Red" Bell; her husbands, Lawrence Chayce Boots and Ronald Samuel Steele of Indianapolis; her son Michael; and her daughter-in-law Susan.
She is survived by: her son Robert (Kathryn); her daughter-in-law Gina Boots; her granddaughters, Kristin Banks (Chris), Crawfordsville, Anastasia Davidson (Chuck) and Aubrie Linder (Dan); her great grandchildren, Madison Banks, Breya, Everly Davidson, Logan, Clara and Nolan Linder; and her caregiver Kathryn.
She returned to live for a few years at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville until the COVID pandemic, when she moved into the home of her family in Springfield, Illinois.
