We announce the death of Stephen M. Mahler (Springfield, Illinois), who passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 64. Stephen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Stephen’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Mahler and Theodore Mahler. He is survived by: his siblings, Debby Sparling of Springfield, IL, Tim Mahler of Springfield, IL, Dave Mahler (Julie) of Ozark, AL and Brad Mahler of Pleasant Plains, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Plains Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
