We are sad to announce that, on February 6, 2025, at the age of 86, Steven J. Mihelsic of Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Mihelsic and Mary Mihelsic (Lazar); his wife Bernice Tertel; his children, Lisa Mihelsic of Springfield, David Mihelsic (Tracy) of Springfield and Michael Mihelsic of Springfield; and his sister Barbara Pierson (Bob) of St. Louis, MO. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
