He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gottfried; his children, Nicole Gottfried (Aaron Slater) and William Gottfried; his granddaughters, Jada Gottfried and Savannah Boswell; his sister Diane Lyons (Rick Lyons); and his nephews, Mark, David and Ricky.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Sherman (2626 E Andrew Rd, Sherman, IL 62684).
