He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy McSwiggin and Mary McSwiggin (Kook); and his son-in-law Ricky Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Sharon McSwiggin of Springfield; his children, Timothy McSwiggin (Jamie Hall) of Springfield, Cynthia Richardson of Webster City, MO and Erin McSwiggin of Springfield; his granddaughters, Amanda and Kimberly; and his siblings, Mary Kay Benda (J. Pat), Theresa Carlquist (Dan), James McSwiggin (Debbie), Joe McSwiggin (Eleanor) and John McSwiggin (Gayle). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
