He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Mae Pearl Paoni (Grigsby); his sons, Thomas Paoni Jr. and John Henry Paoni; and his siblings, Pam Pruitt and Jack Paoni.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Robinson; his children, Ronald Paoni of Springfield, Lori White (Joseph) of Chandlerville, David Paoni (Barb) of Springfield, Joseph Paoni (Melanie) of Auburn and Jerald Paoni (Leann) of Dawson; his stepdaughter Patricia Trader of New Berlin; and his brothers, Charles Paoni (Alice) of Springfield and Bill Paoni (Doris) of West Virginia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
