He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick J. Egan and Margaret E. Coldewey Egan; and his brother Patrick Egan. He is survived by: his sisters, Margi Egan of Springfield and Sarah Hulsen (Jack) of Chatham; his nephew John (Molly); his niece Jennifer Surges (Eric); his great-nieces, Emily and Ellie Surges; and his great-nephew Benjamin Hulsen.
