He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotte Hammitt (Cellini); his stepfather Frank Hammitt; and his cousin Angela Cellini-Curry. He is survived by: his father Jerry V. Stone (Marilyn J.) of Brookfield, MO; his siblings, Jerry Stone (Jamie) of Springfield, Andrea Lee (Brian) of Auburn, Franklin Hammitt (Ashley) of Springfield and Eric Stone (Nicole) of Kansas City, MO; his nieces and nephews, J. R. Stone, Cam Lee, Jennifer Lahr, Clara Kapp and Gabby Lee; and his sisters, Sharon Goretzke and Elizabeth Ballard. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; and two friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Rd., Springfield, IL 62702 or St. John's Hospital Hospice Program, 800 East Carpenter St., Springfield, IL 62769.
