He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Lanphier Beard; his brothers, John Beard (Teresa) and Pete Beard (Carrie); his aunt Susan L. Kelley; and his stepmother Susan Beard. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
