He was predeceased by: his father Charles E. Palmer; and his brother Brian Palmer. He is survived by: his mother Helen L. Palmer (Cooper); his children, Marianna "Anna" A. Palmer of Springfield and Michael E. Palmer of Springfield; and his cousins, Dawn Wilkins, Diane DeGroot (Mark) and Marlyn Burkett (Terry).
