It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velda L. Fafoglia of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dale Gibbs and Mamie Saunders Gibbs; her spouse Lindo Fafoglia; and her siblings, Wilma Foster, Jean Carter, Lori Goodman, Shirley Bombrough, Marilyn Maxwell, Merle Gibbs and Delbert Gibbs.

She is survived by : her son Mark Fafoglia of Springfield; and her brother-in-law Otto Fafoglia of Chatham. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
