Velma Mae Fraase Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Mae Fraase of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Velma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Velma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Jordan and Julia Jordan (Thomas); and her husband Harry Fraase Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Fraase (Sue), Dennis Fraase (Janet), Harry "Tom" Fraase Jr. (Vicki), Jim Fraase, William Fraase (Donna) and Gregory Frasse (Wei Wei Hu).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bisch Funeral Home West (2931 S Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL 62711).
