It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Venris White Sr. of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda M. White; his parents, Venris Sr. White and Maebell White; and his siblings, Augusta Shanklin, Henry Shanklin, Linda Shanklin and Sgt. Nathan White.
He is survived by: his son Venris P. White III; his daughter-in-law Lajewell White; his grandchildren, Nychelle White, Nahjia White and Naudia White; and his siblings, Debora White, Leon Shanklin and Vernice Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ruby Funeral Services (1520 E Washington St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
