Victor M. Wurtzler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Victor M. Wurtzler of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on April 16, 2026 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wurtzler and Gretchen Wurtzler (Lueschen). He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Fritchman of Springfield and Stephanie Boesdorfer of Springfield; his grandchildren, Lu Boesdorfer, Heidi, Brock and Hannah Fritchman; and his siblings, David Wurtzler (Liz) of England, Lisa Wurtzler-Borow (Gus) of Arizona, Dawn Wurtzler of Springfield and Paul Wurtzler (Lynn) of Minnesota. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
