With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vincent A. Salvo of Springfield, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Salvo and Frances Salvo (Randazzo). He is survived by: his siblings, Anthony Salvo of Springfield, Charlie Salvo (Pam) of Overland Park, KS and Carla Salvo of Chicago. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI).
