Wesley R. King Obituary

We bid farewell to Wesley R. King of Springfield, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2025 at the age of 94. Wesley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Carl; his former wife Eunice J. Clements; his brothers, Keith and Garth King; and his grandson Michael Galati.

He is survived by: his wife Edith King; his daughter Monica Galati (Angelo) of Granite City, IL; his stepson Larry Barker of Berlin, IL; his granddaughter Gina Bolen (Gerald); his great grandchildren, Brendan and Samantha Abbott; and his siblings, Gerald King and Winona "Joyce" King-Miller.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodwreath Cemetery (16284 Old Jacksonville Rd, New Berlin, IL 62670).
