It is with sadness that the passing of William G. Forgas (Springfield, Illinois) is shared. William, born on September 22, 1953, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Forgas and June Krug Forgas; and his brothers, Paul M. "Mike" and Martin Forgas. He is survived by: his siblings, Christine Parker (Bill), Melissa Davis (Tom), Susan Bryant, Henry, Matthew (Beth) and Timothy (Mary Cutler). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Church Hall Alongside of St. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cabrini Church (1020 N Milton Ave, Springfield, IL 62702).
