He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. "Jack" Herrin and Virginia "Gini" Herrin (Riggins); and his stepsiblings, Rodney McNeal and Jodi Vaughn. He is survived by: his son Brett Herrin (Amber Holt); his stepmother Beverly J. Herrin; his siblings, John Herrin, Lisa Herrin, Julie Melvin (Stephen), Kirsten Kienzler (Joe) and Jamie Herrin (Jessie); and his stepsiblings, Brenda McNeal-Heimann, Randy McNeal (Jodi), Jeff McNeal (Laura Casper) and Todd McNeal (Teresa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
