He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman A. Meriwether and Glenna Kennerly Meriwether; and his brother Bruce Meriwether. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Kathy" E. Bale; his stepdaughter Kimberly Niewold; and his sister-in-law Shirley Meriwether of Dubuque, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
