He is survived by: his children, Kelsey Kirkwood-Riley (Mike) of Riverton and Cody Kirkwood (Brittany) of Riverton; his grandsons, Zaiden Kirkwood, Trentyn Cartwright and Brenden Kirkwood; his former wife Tisha Vollmer of Decatur; his siblings, Char Dupent of The Villages, FL and Chris Vollmer (Jessica) of Divernon; his sisters-in-law, April Willam (Alijah) and Cindy Hayes (Jim); and his nieces and nephews, Casey, Jack, Drew and Blake. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
