It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Thomas Bailey of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, AB Bailey, Sr. and Delores Bailey; his uncles, Demetry and Thomas Glass; and his significant other Sheila Jones.
He is survived by: his son Carl Jefferson; his grandchildren, Tamiah, Tanya Jefferson and Maliki Wiseman; his godson Javarus Bailey; and his siblings, AB Bailey Jr. of New Albany, IN, Curtis, Bobby, Gary, Marlon Bailey, Carolyn Bailey of Springfield, IL and Evelyn Franklin of St. Petersburg, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
