She was predeceased by: her parents, Kaname Kobayashi and Shima Kobayashi. She is survived by: her husband Matthew B. Hitzemann, Jr.; her daughter Debra Carbonell (Reggie); and her granddaughter Dr. Katie Wise (Jacob).
