He was predeceased by : his great-grandparents, Linda O'Dell and Emma Herbert. He is survived by : his parents, Kasuem Ahmed II and Angelica O'Dell; his brothers, Zamir and Zakari Ahmed; his grandparents, Shane, Danette Newlin of Taylorville, IL and Merilyn Herbert of Springfield; his great-grandparents, Deborah Tucker of Springfield, Alice Newlin of Taylorville, IL and Mike O'Dell of Kincaid; and his uncles, Kasuem Ahmed, Jr. and Rasheed Ahmed. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made for his brother's college education.
