He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Springer and Emma Kauffmann Springer; his siblings, Mahlon, Orval, Marvin, Paul, Carrol, Kay Burmeister, Verna Shoemaker and Ethel Sommer; and his son-in-law Dennis Hostetler.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Springer (Lisa) of Minier, Tom Springer (Maureen) of Delavan, Mitch Springer (Carol) of Danvers, Sue Turskey (Steve) of Orrville, OH and Marge Gingerich (Dave) of Goshen, IN; his brother Dick Springer (Nancy) of Delavan; and his siblings-in-law, Louise Springer of Delavan, Loretta Slaubaugh (Ed) of Loogootee, IN, Bev Litwiller of Hopedale, Dorothy Klassen of Pekin, Dorthea Litwiller of Goshen, IN and Al Litwiller (Marilyn) of Paxton. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hopedale Mennonite Church (5192 Hopedale Rd, Hopedale, IL 61747). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mennonite Cemetery (1818 IL-122, Hopedale, IL 61747). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hopedale Mennonite Church (5192 Hopedale Rd, Hopedale, IL 61747).
