He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert T. Boitnott and Mildred Veach Boitnott; and his siblings, Tommie Boitnott and Pattie Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Smith; his children, Chad Boitnott (Sarah) and Robbie Boitnott; his grandchildren, Jersi Boitnott, Camden Boitnott, Beau Boitnott, Payton Evans and Marli Evans; and his sister-in-law Nancy Boitnott.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Allin Township Community Building in Stanford, Illinois (203 N Blackstone Ave, Stanford, IL 61774).
