He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Yarnik and Margaret Yarnik Sr. (Cailotto); his brothers, Ron, Jerry and Art; his father-in-law Charles Masinelli; and his son-in-law Phil Orr.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Yarnik (Janelle Franke) of Staunton, IL, Julie Orr of Staunton, IL and Jennifer Yarnik (Brooks Pfeiffer) of Mt. Olive, IL; his grandson Joshua Franke of Staunton, IL; and his mother-in-law Dolores Masinelli. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (311 Elm St, Staunton, IL 62088). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church-Steeple Repair Fund or to the Staunton Area Ambulance Service.
