It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold N. Heigert of Staunton, Illinois, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Benjamin Heigert and Frances Heigert (Dietz); his brother Elmer Heigert; his sister-in-law Doris Heigert; and his nephew Kenneth Heigert.
He is survived by : his wife Loretta Heigert of Staunton, IL; his children, Valerie Moore of Springfield, IL, Diane Coronado (Rick) of McLeansboro, IL and Thomas Heigert (Laura) of Staunton, IL; his grandchildren, Stephanie Schofield (Thomas) of Mt. Olive, IL, Jessica Rodgers of Springfield, IL and Chris Coronado (Brenna) of McLeansboro, IL; his great grandchild Haley Shryock of Springfield, IL; and his sister Lorraine Heigert of Staunton, IL. He is also survived by several nephews & cousins.
Memorials are suggested to either Hospice of Southern Illinois, Adopt-A-Pet of Benld, Illinois, or to St. Michael's Old Catholic Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois.
