As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas V. Myers and Virginia Myers (Bode); her son-in-law Andy Simmons; and her husband Virgil. She is survived by: her children, Thomas "Tom" Heepke (Kelly) of Oronoco, MN, Robert "Rob" Heepke (Tricia) of Staunton, IL, Cheryl "Cheri" Heepke of Greenwood, SC and Melissa "Missy" Simmons of Allentown, PA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 4 step grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to The Glenwood Supportive Living of Staunton or Metro-East Humane Society.
