We announce the death of Jeffrey Michael Leitschuh (Staunton, Illinois), born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marge Pernicka (Krechnyak) and Joe Leitschuh; and his pets, Spunky, Remington Hunter and Jack Browning.
He is survived by: his wife Joelle Leitschuh (Prosser); his daughter Rachel; his son-in-law Zach Leuenberger of Staunton, IL; his son Aaron; his daughter-in-law Warisara Leitschuh of Goodfellow, AFB; his parents, Joyce Leitschuh (Pernicka) of Staunton, IL and George Leitschuh of Modesto, IL; his grandmother Maxine Leitschuh (Spudick) of Mt. Olive, IL; his brothers, Scott Leitschuh (Liz) of Troy, IL, Joe Leitschuh (Tonya) of Weldon, IL and Bob Leitschuh (Nikol) of Litchfield, IL; his in-laws, Jerry and Debbie Prosser of Staunton, IL; his sisters-in-law, Jill Gorenz (Chris) of Alhambra, IL and Jennifer Huber of Staunton, IL; and his pet Jasmin Colt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, & cousins.
