He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Sievers and Esther Sievers Sr. (Sievers); his brother Edwin "Sonny" Sievers Jr.; his brother-in-law Lloyd Brase; and his in-laws, George and Helen Brase.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Sievers; his children, Janice McCalla (Chris) and Dean Sievers (Linda); his grandchildren, Craig McCalla (Maggie), Stacey Kleiboeker (Geoffrey), Carrie Mansholt (Jon) and Rebecca Royer (Christopher); his great grandchildren, Molly, Claire, Grant McCalla, Gavin, Elaine Kleiboeker, Adelynn, Nash Mansholt and Lane Royer; his sister Velma Granda (Don); and his sisters-in-law, Carmen Sievers and Helen Brase. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Memorials are suggested to either St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery or to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
