He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Heinemeyer and Daisy B. Heinemeyer (Wall). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Heinemeyer of Staunton, IL; his children, Susan Kovaly of Staunton, IL and Michael Heinemeyer (Kelly) of Imperial, MO; his grandsons, Michael G. Kovaly and Justin Walker; and his brother Gary Heinemeyer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Williamson Funeral Home (108 W Henry St, Staunton, IL 62088). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (415 E Main St, Staunton, IL 62088). A wake was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 5:00 PM and on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Williamson Funeral Home (108 W Henry St, Staunton, IL 62088). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
