With sadness, we share the passing of Ada M. Gill of Steeleville, Illinois. Ada, born on June 22, 1940, passed away on June 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Freytag and Ada Freytag (Thieret); her husband Darrell Gill of Peter's Lutheran Church; her brother Elmer Lee Freytag; her niece Jodi Reeves; and her nephews, Donald Schatte and Greg Freytag.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Wegener (Larry) of Steeleville, IL; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Bayles, Gerry Schatte (Beth), Dennis Schatte (Debbie), Jeff Freytag (Iva) and David Freytag (Leah).
Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church or Randolph County Humane Society, and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
