He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert L. Rieckenberg and Effie Rieckenberg (Otten); and his son-in-law Gary Schroeder. He is survived by: his children, Dan Rieckenberg (Ladene) of Steeleville, IL and Debra Rathert (Sid) of Ava, IL; and his grandchildren, Michele Cross (Seth), Alison Knop (Darrick), Justin Rieckenberg, Abby Woods (Tyler), Mary Walter (Scott), Lindsay Thies (Matt) and Matthew Rieckenberg (Alexis). He is also survived by his 9 great grandchildren.
