She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bodeker and Beulah Bodeker (Abell); and her siblings, Walter, Clarence, Harold, Everett, Kenneth and Dorothy Petroske.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Rathert of Steeleville, IL; her children, Julie Bockhorn (Steve) of New Athens, IL, Bryan Rathert (Bonnie) of Newnan, GA and Tim Rathert (Cheryl) of Perryville, MO; and her sister Sally Kroker of St. Louis, MO.. She is also survived by her 9 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (105 N Garfield St, Steeleville, IL 62288). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
