With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Ramsey of Steeleville, Illinois, who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell "Ducky" Ramsey and Janetta Ramsey; his siblings, Thomas, Sonia and Nancy Burrows of Sparta, IL.; and his friends, Larry "Sonny" Diamond, Wendell Shook of Clarmin, IL and Dennis "Toby" Welty of Willisville, IL..
He is survived by: his significant other Karen Ramsey (Melville); his children, Rusty, Adhanet Tesfayohannes and Stephanie Ramsey of Maroa, IL.; his grandchildren, Blake Ramsey of Garland, TX, Logan, Taylor Ramsey of Plano, TX and Gabrielle "Gabe" Amanuel of Peoria, IL.; his great grandchildren, Glenn, Sawyer and Harley Ramsey of Garland, TX; and his sister Janice. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Percy Village Cemetery.
