She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Koester and Thea Koester (Wegener); her husband Edgar W. Helmers; and her brother Robert Koester. She is survived by: her son John Helmers (Kathy) of Steeleville, IL; her grandson Eli Craig; her brother Richard Koester (Geralyn) of Wildwood, MO; and her sister-in-law Pat Koester of Magnolia, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
