He is survived by: his wife Michele Burns of Steeleville; his children, Michael Burns, Jr. (Tricia) of DeSoto, IL, Joshua E. Burns (Elysia Iwao) of Herrin, IL and Jessica Burns of Chester, IL; his grandchildren, Hayden, Wyatt, Edie, Alekzander, Audrey and Alayna; and his siblings, DeWayne C. Burns (Debra) of Coulterville, Judith Burns of Coulterville, Dennis Burns (Rose) of Coulterville, Brenda Sue Burns of Broken Arrow, OK and Brian Burns of Coulterville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
