With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael C. Salger of Steeleville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. Salger and Grace M. Salger (Studt); his son Jeffrey M. Salger; and his brother-in-law Clay Fortner. He is survived by: his wife Tamara "Tammy" Salger of Steeleville; his daughter Jennifer Cole of Steeleville; his granddaughters, Gracelynn and Lyllian; his sisters, Darlene Wittenborn (Scott) of Ruma and Diane Niemeyer (David) of Steeleville; and his sister-in-law Sandra Fortner of Steeleville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A college fund account has been established at 1st National Bank of Steeleville for memorials to be made for Michael's granddaughters whom were his pride and joy, Gracelynn & Lyllian Cole or memorials can be made to donor's choice and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
