We announce the death of Paul D. Guebert of Steeleville, Illinois, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 92. Paul will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul T. Guebert and Elsie L. Guebert (Mines); his wife Ruby Rodewald; his brother Roland Guebert; and his brother-in-law Roger McNalley.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Guebert (Kim) of Steeleville, IL and Dale Guebert (Linda) of Davenport, IA; his granddaughter Katerina Harris (Levi); his great grandchildren, Alexandra, Brantley and Lainey; his sister Shirley McNalley of Waterloo, IL; and his sister-in-law Judy Guebert (Violet Dierks) of Herrin, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (105 N Garfield St, Steeleville, IL 62288). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
