We announce the death of Janette L. Eiermann-Dunn (Steger, Illinois), who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 93. Janette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband James N. Dunn; her parents, Helen Roesner and John Roesner; and her siblings, Joan Dykstra (Richard), Margaret Geremia and John Roesner.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Todd (Tammy) of Lauriann Mancha, K. C. and Michael Eiermann (Lauri Bettress); her grandchildren, Danielle Bacon (Nick), Kristina Burns (Zack), Michael Mancha and Kenny Eiermann; her great grandchildren, Charlie Bacon, Mia Bacon and Sophia Burns; her brother-in-law Max Geremia; her nephew Max Geremia (Lori); and her niece Colette Elbaor (Greg).
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smits-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (19500 Cottage Grove Ave, Glenwood, IL 60425).
