He was predeceased by : his sister Sharon Marie; and his parents, Edward Korzeniewski and Lorraine Kozy. He is survived by : his wife Karen Kozy; and his pets, Pippen, Boomer and Sassy.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Homewood Memorial Gardens (600 Ridge Rd, Homewood, IL 60430).
